Terms of use

The deal

You give us your family's archive to safeguard. We give you a private home for it and the tools to keep it growing across generations. We will not look through it, sell it, or hand it to anyone you didn't invite.

Who owns the content

You do. You retain full ownership of everything you upload. By uploading, you grant Cultural Home a limited license to store, display, and process that content solely to operate your home (backups, search, audio transcription, photo tagging, etc.).

Your responsibilities

• Don't upload content you don't have the right to share with the people you invite.
• Don't use Cultural Home to harass anyone or break the law.
• Keep your account password to yourself.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime and durable backups, but no service is infallible. Export your archive periodically (Settings → Security & data).

Subscriptions

Paid tiers are billed monthly. You can downgrade or cancel any time. If your tier shrinks, your content stays — but features outside the new tier become read-only until you upgrade again.

Closing an account

You can leave a home or delete your account from Settings. A homeowner can delete the entire home; this is permanent.

Changes

If we materially change these terms, we'll email every account at least 30 days before they take effect.
